by Steven Rodriguez - January 1, 2007, 9:12 pm EST

Nintendo World Report highlights the best of the year that was.

Just like we take a moment to look back, we'd also like to take some time to look ahead to the new year. What are we looking forward to? What would we like to see happen with the site? Here's what we have to say.

Why We're Looking Forward to 2007:

Evan Burchfield: “Because Metroid Prime 3 is better than Zelda."

Steven Rodriguez: “An abundance of Wii games worth playing."

Karl Casteneda: “More Wii software!"

Michael Cole: “Super Mario Galaxy + Super Paper Mario + Metroid Prime 3 = WIN"

Lasse Pallesen and David Trammell: “Metroid Prime 3!"

Jon Lindemann: “Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Super Mario Galaxy, and Dragon Quest IX. WOW."

Stan Ferguson: “Super Mario Galaxy and some Wii third party support to go with it."

Jonathan Metts: “Original Wii games, better online DS games, better VC games, and an improved E3."

Aaron Kaluszka: “Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, Wii online, and (hopefully) other genre-defining games."

Daniel Bloodworth: “Metroid Prime 3, Super Mario Galaxy, Smash Bros. Brawl. Wii have only just begun."

NWR Goals for 2007:

Jon Lindemann: “Juggle the immense task of finishing game reviews on-time while playing the heck out of all the new titles."

Stan Ferguson: “Break into the Top 10 Games and Hobbies Listing on iTunes with Radio Free Nintendo."

Karl Casteneda: “Make RFN the #1 gaming podcast!"

Evan Burchfield: “Get more exclusives and reform our news policy."

Michael Cole: “More specials. Less Oregon. (Just kidding, Evan!)"

Jonathan Metts: Overhaul the news policy and keep improving the podcast."

Aaron Kaluszka: Reform news posting, keep database current and make the site more Wii-friendly.

Steven Rodriguez: “All of the above, and also continue to be the biggest and best independent Nintendo site in the world!"
