Nintendo DS – Best Sound

The NWR Award

Elite Beat Agents

The spirit of Osu! Tatake! Ouendan! lives on in the English version of the import sensation. Though the Americanized soundtrack may have perturbed some die-hards, the game is so much fun to play that it turns the music into something special. When the entire experience is centered around the audio, it had better be pretty damn good. Thankfully for us, it was.

Runner-up: Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin

Konami knows how to make a game sound good. Many consider the music in the Castlevania series to be some of the company's best work. Portrait of Ruin is no exception, and so it gets the number two slot behind the runaway winner.

Also Nominated:

Children of Mana

Metroid Prime Hunters
