Best 3DS Game

Yes, the 3DS is still around and has some cool games.

Winner: WarioWare Gold

While the role of the Nintendo 3DS is growing smaller by the year, the fact that good games still come to it is something to be celebrated. One of our favorite titles was WarioWare Gold, a game that celebrates the microgame franchise as a whole. Gold brings the best games of the original, Twisted, and Touched together in one incredibly fun package. Naturally, you can play through the game's entire campaign in a breezy two hours, but WarioWare Gold offers enough to keep you coming back for a while. The various Challenge Modes highlight the various ways to play, while replaying the main stages for high scores is an endlessly satisfying process.

In addition, the game offers a variety of missions that make players shoot for specific goals. These will ask you to aim for crazy high numbers, but you get a bunch of money for it in return. This currency can be spent to purchase minigames, studio recording options, and other little trinkets. Considering the game is completely voiced, it is fun to dub your own voices over the cutscenes and see how that all comes together. The change in style might take some getting used to, but every other thing WarioWare Gold does it completely nails. Now where is our WarioWare game on Switch, Nintendo?

No Valiant Hearts for best story? For shame.

Very happy you gave Xenoblade 2 Torna some love! The root game didn't get enough love (maybe because they released it in December)

FTFY.
