Listen! Skyward Sword is coming out in November.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is coming out in North America on November 20, and in Europe on November 18, according to a press release from Nintendo.
The press release reiterated that the game's story is the precursor to Ocarina of Time, which recently saw a 3D remake on the Nintendo 3DS in June.

The new design is meant to sit horizontally and comes in a two-game bundle.
A new streamlined version of the Wii will be releasing in the United Kingdom before Christmas.
The console is meant to sit horizontally, with the vertical stand of the original version eliminated. The new system also removes backwards compatibility with GameCube software and accessories.
This new Wii will be sold as part of a new family bundle, which will include Wii Sports and Wii Party, along with a Wii Remote Plus and Nunchuk.

Hideo Kojima tweet confirms the existence of the project.
A game in the Zone of the Enders series is in the works for the 3DS, according to a Hideo Kojima tweet.
The series features mech combat in a futuristic sci-fi setting. Previous games in the series include two action titles on the PlayStation 2, as well as a turn-based strategy spin-off on the Game Boy Advance.

Conduit developer's next title coming Holiday 2011.
Country Dance 2, a dance game featuring over 30 current country songs, is being developed for Wii by High Voltage Software.
The game, published by GameMill Entertainment, features music from a variety of country artists, including George Strait, Blake Shelton and Carrie Underwood. It builds upon the original by including a new sing-a-long mode, duet dancing, and a calorie-counting exercise mode.

Touch screen-enhanced port of WiiWare title to launch this holiday.
Puzzle-platformer Max and the Magic Marker will be coming to the DS later this year from Easy Interactive.
The game, which was released on WiiWare in March of 2010, has you playing as a young boy named Max who discovers a marker with magical powers. This marker, now controlled with the DS stylus, is used to draw items on-screen to help the player traverse the 15 levels in the game.

The trailer unveils a new area in the mountains and a new antagonist.
Capcom released a new trailer for Resident Evil Revelations at Gamescom 2011. The trailer focuses on Chris Redfield, his partner Jessica Sherawat, and a terrorist organization known as Veltro.
Along with the trailer, Capcom also debuted two new gameplay videos which show Chris fighting undead dogs as well as searching through the wreckage of a crashed airplane.

The price drop proves to be super effective!
The 3DS managed to sell 207,000 units during the week the price drop was made effective in Japan, according to a report by Nikkei.
The data tracks the sales from the week of August 8 till the 14, the same week in which the price drop was made official. In comparison to the sales data from the launch of the system, it tops the previous 206,000 units sold during that week.

A 2010 patent application smells a lot like Animal Crossing.
A patent application filed by Nintendo in January 2010 and recently published refers to the idea of Massively Single-Player Online game. The idea behind the patent seems to be a game that allows players to interact with non-scripted elements to bypass artificial intelligence limitations without having to worry about the problems that come about when encountering random other players in an online environment.

An image on Nintendo's Facebook page may be hinting at a possible Ambassador game.
Nintendo presented its Facebook fans with an image of Super Mario Bros. 3, more specifically a screenshot of the "TIME UP" screen.
The image was used to alert gamers about the deadline to sign for the upcoming Ambassador program where early adopters of the 3DS can obtain free games to play on the system.

The game is the first third party Wii party to reach the milestone.
Ubisoft's Just Dance 2 has becomes the first non-Nintendo-published title to sell more than five million copies on the Wii, according to sales data by the NPD.
The dance title, which was originally released in North America on October 12, 2010, finished third for the month of July, selling 120,000 units. This makes Just Dance 2 the eighth Wii game to reach the milestone, and the first third party game to do so on the system.

Capcom's Ghosts 'n Goblins spin-off for the Game Boy might see flight in other countries.
The Australian Classification Database has rated Capcom's Gargoyle's Quest: Ghosts 'n Goblins for a future eShop release.
The game is a spin-off of Capcom's Ghosts 'n Goblins series starring Firebrand, a red gargoyle who served as the primary antagonist of that Capcom series. It was originally released in North America in July 1990.

Eco-chan, a character created to promote the environment by Japan's Yamaguchi Prefecture, has been retired to due claims of the character being too similar to Pokemon's Pikachu.

Now the girls of DoA can spot new looks courtesy of SpotPass.
Tecmo has announced the dates of the next set of downloadable costumes for Dead or Alive Dimensions for the 3DS.
Players who missed the original run of the downloadable costumes up to July 29 will now be able to download them. The offer will start on August 15, 2011 and will run through October 22, 2011. Each day will offer a new costume for downloading, 34 in total, for free.
