They might not have sold two million copies in their first week, but these games definitely deserve your dollar.

Straight out of the emperors of old school, Ikaruga is a blisteringly difficult shooter that’ll hand you your ass more times than any other game on this list. Even so, it’s more fun than a barrel of monkeys. Unless those monkeys each come with their own copy of Ikaruga. But seeing as how that isn’t too likely, you’ll just have to make do with this wonderful Treasure masterpiece. Just don’t blame us when you chew your hand off in frustration.
