They might not have sold two million copies in their first week, but these games definitely deserve your dollar.
There aren’t a lot of Cinderella stories in the gaming industry, but Tom Fulp’s tale is certainly one of them. From the original Newgrounds flash version to a full console title, he took his dedication to old-school 2D action and made it into a full fledged release. With fun and nostalgic gameplay and a signature art style, we all fell in love with Alien Hominid, and only wish that more people got the chance to feel the same. It was a budget title to begin with, so copies should be dirt cheap by now.
