So you'll be able to plug in SNES carts? Not quite. At least you'll be able to play the games!
Here's the skinny...
According to Minaduki, Nintendo has released some new details concerning the Game Boy Advance.
First, the unit will be 100% compatible with Super Famicom (Super Nintendo) titles. Meaning not that you can plug in an SNES cart, rather, developers can easily port old SNES games.

Nintendo's Peter Main speaks a few promising words on DVD, GBA, and Net Functionality.
IGN has the poop...
At a press conference in New York today, Nintendo's Peter Main revealed a few new details regarding its next-generation console. While the Nintendo executive spoke broadly about the system, he did touch on important subjects including DVD functionality, Internet connectivity and the Game Boy Advance relationship.

In a speech at the GKM Toy and Interactive Entertainment Conference yesterday, Nintendo's Peter Main spoke regarding "Dolphin," Nintendo's next-generation console.
Here, the transcript of his Dolphin-related comments:
"On the console front, I can assure you that we're hard at work creating a Dolphin machine that will meet or exceed the performance of Playstation 2. But at the same time, we're very comfortable holding our cards close to the vest...Seeing what Sega's delivering...And listening to what Sony is promising."

FM radio technology in the Dolphin? A very interesting concept, and our good friends from Konami could bring it our way. Nintendojo has da goods...
Konami plans to launch a game distribution service using FM Radio. The game data distribution service would use using FM multiplex broadcasting. Konami plans to incorporate FM reception capabilities for its home console games, arcade games, and toys.

As we reported a few days ago, Majesco has two practically unheard-of GBA games on the way -- Caesar's Palace Advance: Millennium Gold Edition, and Aerial Aces. Since then we've gathered some new info on this silent duo. Apparently Aerial Aces will be out very soon, most likely in November, while according to reader PBN and Doug Hill (of RPGamer), Caesar's Palace Advance is already out.
