We've tallied your votes and the results are in.

A few weeks ago we asked our readers and staff to send us a list of their most wanted titles coming to Nintendo platforms. The idea was to come up with a list of the most wanted games, similar to what used to happen on a monthly basis in Nintendo Power magazine.

Well the results are in! We've crunched the numbers and can now share with our readers the top 25 most wanted titles coming to Nintendo platforms.

So how were these results calculated? Each list we received ranged from five games to 10, and on those lists each game was given points for their ranking. For example, let's say that Zelda: Breath of the Wild is at the top of a list of 10 games. That means Zelda: Breath of the Wild would get 10 points. The second-highest game would get nine points, and the third-highest would get eight, and so on and so forth. If the list was just five games, then Zelda: Breath of the Wild would get five points.

Using those numbers, we divided them by the most amount of points possible. So let's say Zelda: Breath of the Wild was at the top of one person's 10-game list and was fourth on another list. That means, if we were using those two lists, Zelda: Breath of the Wild would have an NWR Hype Number of 85% (or (10+7)/20, which would be (one list's rank+another list's rank/highest possible rank).

It's a wacky way to do this, but it's also just for fun. We hope you enjoy the feature, and if something you wanted didn't make the list let us know about it in the Talkback section below!

Based on these rankings, I'm horribly out of touch with what's popular.

I'm ok with that.

The list seems about right to me.

The Federation Force apologists sure seemed to come out in full force on this one.  But 1 and 2 are dead on.  I would say I'm more hyped for Breath of the Wild than the NX.  I am very confident Breath of the Wild will be good but the NX?  That's up in the air.  I'm not really hyped about it, I'm interested in it.  I want to know what Nintendo has cooking up and I may like it or a may not but I want to know.  I feel like Nintendo's whole future relies on the NX so will it be a big comeback for them or their last failed grasp at console relevance?

And Dragon Quest VII ranked really high and I'm very interested in giving it a go since I never played the PS1 version.  So the stuff I'm interested in actually ranked quite high.

That was my top three on the list I submitted (though I had Pokemon Sun and Moon at the two spot and the NX at three) and it would still be the same today. I didn't have Paper Mario: Color Splash on my list and it might not make the top 10 if I made a list again today, but I am intrigued by that game and looking forward to seeing more impressions (and eventually the reviews) of it.
