The BBC video game show Newsround mentions DVD Playback for Dolphin...
Maybe this is fluff as well. Or could it be what will be soon to be announced Dolphin information? The BBC's popular gaming television show Newsround recently did a preview of the next-generation console war. In this preview the host says Nintendo told him there would be DVD playback. This means movies folks! But it is in Japan only...so far. To see a copy of the show....click the link! (you will need Real Player)

Rare drops hint of a new game in development...
Rare is allegedly going to reveal (pictures?) a new game this very Thursday; in time to show it at E3, it seems. It can't be a Dolphin project... can it? This staffer has a hankerin' for a 2D fighter...

Could this be first indication of a Donkey Kong for Dolphin, or is it just fluff?
In the media that's what we call a lesser news, kind of a "oh that's nice" story filling an area that normally would hold a more important news story. In this case, it's IGN64 filling a space that they would like to have some BIG dolphin news. News that isn't here yet. Maybe tomorrow. But instead they have this.

Could there be a new Track & Field en route from Konami?
Ahhhh...just thinking about Track and Field 1 and 2 in the arcade makes my hands just cramp up. The amount of quarters I used to plug into that machine back in the day is probably a number I wouldn't like to admit, but it was worth it. Track and Field was definitely one of my favorite multiplayer... Read more...
