Pokémon: Battle Trozei Announced for 3DS 3DS

The Pocket Monster puzzler returns!

Pokémon: Battle Trozei has been announced for the Nintendo 3DS, and will be releasing on March 20 and in Japan on March 12.

Announced in today's Nintendo Direct, Battle Trozei is a continuation of the Trozei puzzle spinoff that originally released in North America in 2006. This new version will feature all 700 Pokémon.

A new Monster Hunter 4 Nintendo 3DS LL (XL) is coming to Japan on March 27 for 18,952 yen. Labeled the Rajang Gold set, the unit features a gold and black design and also comes packaged with an AC Adapter. For now, this unit is exclusive to Japan.

Steel Diver: Sub Wars Available Now on Nintendo eShop 3DS

Sub battles return to the 3DS

Available immediately after today’s Nintendo Direct on the 3DS eShop, Steel Diver: Sub Wars features online four-on-four multiplayer. Two missions and subs are available for free, with more available in the paid version.

This is the first of Nintendo's free to play games releasing on the eShop. The full version of the game costs $10.

Get ready for some chibi-fied Persona this summer. 

Perona: Shadow of the Labyrinth for the Nintendo 3DS is set to release in Japan on June 5, Iwata revealed at today’s Nintendo Direct. The game features younger versions of characters from both Persona 3 and 4. Currently there is no specific release date for regions outside of Japan.

The Punch-Out!! hero joins the tussle.

Little Mac will be playable in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS, as revealed in today's Nintendo Direct.

He has a lot of punching-based attacks, including a powerful charging move that resembles a knock-out punch. His Final Smash appears to transform him into Giga Mac. The character is based on the 2009 Wii release.

A new 3DS simulation-RPG by the people behind Rune Factory.

Marvelous AQL's next project is a 3DS simulation-RPG developed by Rune Factory series staff, this week's Famitsu revealed.

Forbidden Magma (Kinki no Maguna in Japan) was first teased on a countdown site, leading to today's reveal in Famitsu. Very little information has been revealed about the project, although more details should be given when the official site launches on February 17.

Time for another new Poké Rap!

There will soon be a new Pokémon: #719 Diancie.

According to a translation of CoroCoro magazine by Serebii, Diancie is a Rock/Fairy type and will be the star of a brand new Pokémon movie called Cocoon of Destruction & Diancie. No details on distribution have been reported just yet.

Watch Dogs Delayed for Wii U WiiU

The release of Watch Dogs for Wii U has been delayed. The Wii U version of the game has been pushed to, simply, "a later date".

An Ubisoft spokesman had the following to say about the delay: "We made the difficult decision to further delay the release of Watch Dogs on Wii U to focus the team's resources where they could have the broadest possible benefit for both our customers and Ubisoft".

Say goodbye to the season pass and hello to buying multiple day passes!

Germany's Gamescom show will be changing the way consumer and business tickets work for 2014, Koelnmesse announced on their website.

For the general public, season/weekend passes will no longer be available. Gamescom staff give a number of reasons for the change to Day Passes. They want to guarantee the event will move smoothly and according to plan, which they believe can only be achieved through daily passes.

Physical copies of the game are scarce on the shelves.

The physical copies of the Nintendo 3DS game Rune Factory 4 are in short supply in North America.

"We've received quite a few inquiries asking about Rune Factory 4 since it's been difficult to find in stores in North America. Don't worry! It's just been selling well beyond our expectations, so we're working as quickly as possible to restock physical copies" publisher XSEED said on their official Facebook page.

The mysteries of Lemuria will soon be revealed.

Child of Light, Ubisoft's upcoming artistic platforming RPG, will be coming to the Wii U eShop on April 30, 2014 for $14.99.

The Japanese-style role-playing game created by Ubisoft Montreal is built on the UbiArt Framework, the same engine used to power Rayman Legends and Origins, helping to create worlds that feel like interactive paintings.
