Redbox will now offer Nintendo Switch games for daily rental at select locations. Switch cartridges will match the current $3 rate of other console games.
The kiosks will stock Splatoon 2, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Pokkén Tournament DX, Lego Ninjago, NBA 2K18, Just Dance 2018 and more.

Bethesda will be dropping their first Switch game a week before Skyrim.
A new developer video as well as Nintendo's regional Twitter accounts have all confirmed that the hellacious shooter will release on November 10.
A developer interview has been released by Nintendo talking about the game and showing direct feed gameplay.

Bad enough it eats MvC Infinite's lunch in sales, now it's going 3v3 online.
Pokkén Tournament DX is about to hop on the update train.
The Pokémon Company announced the first update for the September release today, though no release date was given. Among the new features in the update is the ability to have 3v3 group battles online, as well as official groups created by the developers being made available.

Some old friends from Kalos are coming back - in a fashion.
The latest Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon trailer has revealed localized names for a couple of hot new moves.

Might be the best thing to come out of this particular cinematic universe.
After a slight delay, the newest project from WayForward will arrive just before Hallowe'en.
The Mummy Demastered was nailed down today for an October 24 release by WayForward. The 2D-inspired exploration platforming game is based on the 2017 Mummy movie starring Tom Cruise, a part of the Universal "Dark Universe" of monster films.

ARMS was one of the games in tonight's Nintendo World Championship broadcast, and during the competition a new update was teased.

Thankfully, there's plenty of prime numbers to use for the UB's base stats.
The latest trailer for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon has shown more of the Ultra Beasts including a brand new Beast.
It appears the trainer will be able to ride the mascots of Sun and Moon in the respective versions in exploring more of the Ultra space, including a new "Ultra Megalopolis" cityspace. The "Ultra Recon Squad", with two members each for Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, was also revealed.

The deluge of indie games on Switch in recent weeks will continue next week with an odd hybrid.
Twin stick shooter/roguelike cross Neon Chrome will hit the Switch eShop next week for US$14.99 or equivalent. Environments will be fully destructible, and entire floors can be blown up in the course of the procedurally generated adventure.

The Wii Shop will close in 2019 following over twelve years of service.

Following Koei Tecmo's TGS lead, Nintendo has outlined the pricing for North America and Europe's Fire Emblem Warriors season pass.
The pass will be US$19.99, C$25.79, €19.99 and £17.99, with individual packs checking in at $8.99 / $11.59 / €8.99 / £8.09 each, and the packs will drop in December, February and March for the Fates, "heavily inspired by Shadow Dragon" and Awakening packs respectively.

Lucina is getting married. But not really.
Koei Tecmo is giving Fire Emblem Warriors DLC packs, and a season pass.
The pass was revealed today at the Tokyo Game Show, and the game's Japanese website gave the details on pricing and intended release dates for the region. There are three packs coming, each costing ¥1400 (roughly US$12.50 or €10.50) with the season pass being ¥3000.

The alchemic RPG series will mark its 20th anniversary on Switch.
For the first time in more than eight years, the Atelier series will have a North American release on a NIntendo console.
Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings was announced for localization today by Koei Tecmo. The Gust-developed title is the last game in the "Mysterious" series, which had previous entries on Sony platforms.
