Blizzard's popular shooter is coming October 15.

Multiplayer first-person shooter Overwatch is coming to the Nintendo Switch next month.

A video showcasing various Overwatch characters was seen in the first trailer of today’s Nintendo Direct. There will be new ways to play, as the trailer showcased new motion control gameplay.

Overwatch will be released on Nintendo Switch on October 15.

I was expecting them to just gives us a straight port of the console version. Adding motion controls means this was a bigger investment than I anticipated. Very much excited for this.

I might check this out, but I may have gotten my fill of this type of game from Paladins.

I'm one of the few that left Overwatch for Paladins. Not sure if I want to go back even with motion controls.

I enjoyed Overwatch on PC, and I am excited it is coming to Switch, but not sure I want to re-buy it to do so, especially since Paladins is a free alternative. If they include cross play with PC it would push me to purchase because then I could play with my PC-owning friends.
