I really enjoy the laid back atmosphere to this show.  Also the famicom music breaks are awesome.

Glad you all are safe.  Hope that this big aftershock today didn't negatively affect you guys.

Glad to see this continuing so soon after the last one!  Even after only two podcasts, I have to say that you guys make a pretty good team and that the show's got some great content so far: please keep them coming!  I also like the music breaks, although that leads to my only criticism; the volume when you guys speak is too low, so I have to crank the volume on my iPod up to hear what you're saying.  The problem is that the music breaks play at normal volume, so they're much louder than anything else. Other than that, you guys have everything covered.  Again, good job!

The sound levels are definitely things we're trying to improve with each episode, I've been getting some tips from the RFN crew and things will hopefully be much better next time!
Glad you're enjoying the music:
The first rule of Famicast - only 8bit/16bit music.
The second rule - DO tell people about the Famicast ;-)

Thanks for the comments guys, you keep 'em coming too :-)

OOOO This one has Elephants.

The Earthquake is sad and I fully support sending aid to Japan because they did everything reasonably possible.  Know I condemn Tokyo Power but thats another story.

Who went "Aye"?

Like Uncle Bob.

Probably both.

Dollar

The shell game always cheats.

Layton is notorious for the puzzles that have slight play.  Diabolic box strongly indicated that a golfer could only go straight with his putt but in actually the solution required he putts at an angle 11 and then 11 again.  There hint that was possible was that he was an "Expert" golfer.

What do the animated cutscene look like in Layton?

He let's his dog Defescate.  Which is responded by Death, by LttP Chickens.

Random chewy toy.

How can you not have Internet, Caveman?

D ranked all the way baby...

I've been impressed by the SSF internet fighting.

I haven't been able to really go from Easy.

Need Thumb Condom.

...and gave it a Ying-Yang tummy.

He's saving himself.

I don't think it will drop by May.

Found Elite Beat Agent for $4 the other day.  I like to play the original Japanese games.

Sound like the extra $70 be worth it.

Paper... So 90's.

What is the Nintendo Kanji anyway?

"But its the dead of winter." "I mean he's in the Bathroom."

Virtual Boy the Return.

Thats because everyone has a Nintendo System...

I still think there is room in the Audio space and maybe smell.

From my experience with Monkeyball and the tilt playing of that.  Just slide your slider to 2D.

I hear the Championship edition is really good.

5000 yen is $60 bucks right?

I need to play Chrono Trigger.

On Megaman X just get the GCN Collection.

Which I was so disappointed about at the time.  I wanted my Mega.

2,3,4 of the original.  X1 was good not as fond of the others.

But it was such a pain to do at times.

Podcast Cross-Polination.

I couldn't get into Secret of Mana on the GBA.

Almost any RPG like that is better on a portable now.

It will be found out that the Tsunami was really cause by secret sub experiments.

They might be lean on Manpower.

You will be one of us; one of us.  Understand are comedy.

Power goes out.

I sure hope they have some power solution, even if temporary, by summer.

I like to hit some of the Arcades over there.

We had one in Nashville though I never seen anyone play that horse game.

The Horsie Collective.

Their's a Gundam game where you get in the unit.  That would be awesome.(I never actually watched the series. Though I love Mechwarrior.)

Cave Bath.

For next time do they, "Have Icee's and what Flavors are common?"  Got to stay hydrated while gaming.

If you walk in a viscious mobs of Slimes come in and kick you out right right?

Isn't that the case with all themed restaraunts, overpriced?

Nice Find.

Getting the game driver should be the hardest part.

Like to have a huge virtual game repository like Seed banks for the apocalypse.

N64 DD be cool to have.

Its worth getting a Virtual Boy and playing the games.

You should have bought it.

Why we are on Love hotels,  I like to have impression of the pod hotels.
Also and the Capsule scene.

Ultraman love hotel lol.

The architecture over there must be WTF sometimes.

Oh man, I don't know and I'm not going to look.

Are you using a certain sound set for the transition music? Probably 8bit Weapon

Couldn't find the Play Japan album on the site hmmm...

Fun podcast.
