A new challenger for the upcoming Super Smash Bros. games for Wii U and 3DS will be revealed on Monday, July 14, via a live stream on the games' official website. Director Masahiro Sakurai announced on Miiverse that the unveiling will begin at 7 a.m PT. The stream, as seen below, is currently displaying a countdown to the announcement.

Wii U will be left in the dust until next year.

Get ready to hunt monsters on your 3DS ... again.

Monster Hunter 4G is set to release October 11 for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan, as revealed in today's Japanese Nintendo Direct.

Physical versions will retail for 5,800 yen while the digital download will be available for 5,546 yen. This updated version of Monster Hunter 4 will feature additions to the game such as new monsters and new actions for players, and it will also allow save files from the original to be carried over.

Not much this week in the download. I don’t even know what to say, the list here is so bare. The good news is that both systems have a new Virtual Console release. The bad news is that it’s the same game, and I don’t even know if it's any good. Since I never played it though, I shouldn’t be one to judge. Here’s hoping next week has a bit more variety.

Fi, the sword spirit and Link’s guide in Skyward Sword, will appear as a playable character in Hyrule Warriors, according to Famitsu.

No details are known regarding Fi's weapons or fighting style. However, major Skyward Sword enemies Ghirahim and the Imprisoned have been revealed as foes in the upcoming Dynasty Warriors-styled Zelda romp.

Square Enix’s popular online RPG is 3DS bound this September.

Dragon Quest X is coming to the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on September 4. Square Enix is utilizing cloud streaming to make it possible to play the game on Nintendo’s handheld as long as the device is connected to the internet via Wi-Fi. The 3DS version will also allow for cross platform play with the Wii, Wii U and PC versions of the game. The 3DS version of Dragon Quest X does not support the stereoscopic 3D feature.
