Jim Henson strikes again in the gaming world!

The award-winning children's show Bear in the Big Blue House has fallen into Ubi Soft's hands, and the company plans to bring the franchise to Playstation and both of Nintendo's next-generation systems.

Yves Guillemot, president and CEO of Ubi Soft, said, "Children are some of the toughest critics around, and they have overwhelmingly given their approval to Bear and his friends. To be entrusted with developing games based on such a well-done series is both a great honor for us and a challenge which Ubi Soft and its designers will undoubtedly meet with success."

Ubisoft has done wonderful things with children's franchises in the past, and hopefully the Bear games will be as wonderful as their broadcasted counterparts.
