Conversions of the original NES classic Legend of Zelda, and SNES RPG Earthbound are heading to GBA! Updated! Story FALSE?!

After further review, Planet GameCube has decided to pull the pics, and post a retraction.

The pictures that we have posted from Mips are not real. As far as the games are concerned, I'm sure someday we will be seeing a Zelda title on GBA. As for an Earthbound title, there's possibilities for that as well. As of right now, there are no concrete pics, or news of development of Earthbound or Zelda titles for GBA.

We apologize for posting incorrect pics and a false story.

Here's the original story we ran...

In an exclusive story, Mips36 reports that a port of the NES classic The Legend of Zelda and an Earthbound game are headed to the Game Boy Advance.

Although the site reports that the GBA Earthbound is apparently a new game, the screenshots seem to show that it is, as Mips36 speculated, a port of the original SNES RPG. Furthermore, the port of Zelda seems to be a port of the enhanced version of Zelda (a la Super Mario All-Stars) released for the Super Famicom's Sattelaview service in Japan.

This bit of news may also point to the revising of the Zelda history as reported by our very own Louie the Cat a few weeks ago.
