That's wangernumb!

Nintendo's big US software dropped paid off big in July, according to the NPD Group's latest sales survey.

Although an exact figure was not provided, according to NPD "The Nintendo Switch was July's best-selling hardware platform, driven by new inventory released in support of the launch of Splatoon 2". Hardware sales, driven largely by the Switch, are up 20% across the industry year to date. No mention was made of the handheld segment, despite the release of the New 2DSXL on July 28.

Splatoon 2 was the best selling software in the US for July, even without its digital share as Nintendo does not supply those numbers for the sale survey. There were three Nintendo titles in the combined top 7 (Breath of the Wild 5th, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 7th) and ARMS held in a combined 17th place for the month.
