Even more new information has been released regarding Super Pokémon Scramble

Earlier this week we reported that the Nintendo 3DS would be getting its first retail Pokémon game this summer in the form of Super Pokémon Scramble. At the time not many details were known, but since then, tidbits of information have been gradually released.

In Super Pokémon Scramble, players visit a variety of different areas to obtain new Pokémon, much like in Pokémon Rumble for the WiiWare service. By defeating other Pokémon you can add new ones to your team. The game also has the ability to allow players to obtain new Pokémon through communication with other players who have the game.

At the end of each stage is a boss, which ranges from evolved forms of some Pokémon to legendary Pokémon. Players can teach their Pokémon stronger moves as well, to make the boss battles easier.

There are several different modes available this time around: Charge Battle, Battle Royal and Pokémon Collection Battle Challenge Mode are some of the few announced. Charge Battle has you playing against groups of ten other Pokémon whereas Pokémon Collection Battle Challenge Mode lets players battle all the Pokémon that they have collected.

The game will also take advantage of the StreetPass feature of the Nintendo 3DS.

Too bad it's not going to be downloadable, otherwise I might consider getting it.
