Hudson Soft celebrates the long weekend with new trailers for Help Wanted.

What do you want to be when you grow up? That's the question Hudson asks gamers in their recent trailers for Help Wanted, available now for Wii.

Help Wanted lets you participate in over 50 wacky jobs as you attempt to earn enough money to save the world. The two new trailers show off some of the madness you can expect in the final game.

Not a fisherman, a FISHER.

And "Arctic Delivery" as a little bit of a reach, don't you think?

Reception for the game wasn't very good, was it?

For some reason, these trailers are sorta selling me on the game...

Speaking of selling you on Hudson games, did you ever buy Onslaught?

To be honest, I am looking forward to this game. Yes it technically is a mini game collection, but from the trailers and gameplay footage it looks to be unique and fun. I mean, there are some very clever games in Help Wanted, like the translator job mini game. The story even pays homage to Majora's Mask!

Mini-game collections have a bad reputation on the Wii because there are 1) SO many of them and 2) most are just rush-jobs from lazy developers. However, with enough effort, mini-game collections can be a ton of fun which the Warioware series has proven time and again.
Help Wanted definitely has a unique concept and art style and it does seem like Hudson has put some real effort into it. The real make-or-break will be the controls which is where most of these type of games fail on Wii. If Hudson can pull this off, I could see this being a serious new franchise.

I bought Alien Crush Returns yesterday (had an $80 Wii Points shopping spree).  My vote says it's awesome.

I love how that second trailer has a rating of 2 1/2 stars and some negative comments, it's like they are shooting the messager.
