Pre-order the upcoming Zelda DS game on WalMart.com and get some free swag!

WalMart's online store has a interesting little pre-order bonus for DS Lite owners interested in Phantom Hourglass. Place your order on its website and you'll get a skin for your DS Lite and a new stylus. As you can see below, the skin includes a sticker for the top of the DS that features art similar to that seen on the cover of the game, and two stickers for the inside of the DS that feature art from the sailing portions of the game. The stylus appears to be a standard DS Lite stylus in green. It isn't a heck of a lot, but everything is absolutely free, as the pre-order bundle still carries a $34.82 price tag.

Wal-Mart Phantom Hourglass Pre-order Bonus

To order it for yourself, head on over to WalMart's product page. Don't order if you want your game as fast as possible though, as the ship date they are showing is Oct. 5, a full four days after the nationwide ship date of Oct. 1.

Special thanks go out to UncleBob and his thread in the forums for digging this one up.

The Box is great. Stickers much less so.

EB AU can afford to do it, since there's like three people in Australia...

GoldenPhoenixSeptember 19, 2007

Now does this apply to the stores themselves? While really cool I don't want to pay shipping AND TAX.

Sorry guys, EB Aus dont do online postage.

In any case it would cost around $50 US for the game alone (terrible excahnge rates) and it comes out here a week later.

I got a Triforce screwdriver (yes, SCREWDRIVER) with The Wind Waker.

Awesome. I bet it assembles Ikea furniture like a champion.

I recall brain age 2 having a My Nintendo bonus... didn't a second game have one as well? I kind of recall it being Phantom Hourglass, but I could be wrong.

CalibanOctober 08, 2007

You're not wrong, Shecky.
