Nineteen games are slated for release next month.

Nintendo has posted the Virtual Console Japanese release list for April. This month's games are fairly region-specific; for example, none of the Genesis games were ever released outside of Japan, so it is likely that many of these games will not be made available to the rest of the world.

The nineteen games do include some major international releases, such as Star Fox 64 and Bonk's Revenge. Punch-Out!!, Elevator Action, and Final Soldier will be released on April 3rd, while the rest of the games do not have a specific release date specified. The full April release list is found below.

Famicom (NES):

  • Elevator Action
  • Gradius 2
  • Meikyuu Kumikyoku (Milon's Secret Castle)
  • Ninja Ryukenden (Ninja Gaiden)
  • Punch-Out!!

Super Famicom (SNES):

  • Final Fight
  • Heracles no Eikou III [delayed from March]
  • Kirby Bowl (Kirby's Dream Course)

Nintendo 64:

  • Star Fox 64

Mega Drive (Genesis):

  • Bahamut Senki
  • Pulseman
  • Puyo Puyo Tsuu
  • Rent a Hero

PC Engine (TG-16):

  • Benkei Gaiden
  • Final Soldier
  • Kaizou Chounin Shubibinman 2 (Shockman 2)
  • Narazumono Sentou Butai: Bloody Wolf
  • PC Denjin (Air Zonk)
  • PC Genjin 2 (Bonk's Revenge)

Talkback

I love Kirby's Dream Course!

Milon's Secret Castle = AWESOME. I hope everyone will give it a try when it comes to their regions.

Isn't that the game where you have to find which one of the wall tiles in the background is a door?

I remember seeing this game when I was younger and wanting to buy it but not having the money. Now that I'm older and I have the money, do I want to buy it?

Patience, SB.

It shall come. In fact, don't be surprised if they release it just before Brawl hits.
