Acclaimed World War II First Person Shooter Franchise Debuts on Wii Platform

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., December 19, 2006 – Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: ERTS) today announced Medal of Honor Vanguard™, the latest installment from EA’s critically-acclaimed Medal of Honor™ franchise which has been credited with pioneering the First-Person Shooter (FPS) WWII genre when it debuted in 1999. Building on the key tenets of the franchise including historical accuracy and authenticity, Medal of Honor Vanguard will ship to stores in March 2007 under the EA™ brand for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, as well as the Nintendo Wii™.

Step into the boots of Frank Keegan, Corporal of the 82nd Airborne Division and engage in battles throughout Europe. Let me guess, they will build it for the PS2, then "upscale", rather than build it for the Wii and port it down.

i would guess the same, as they don't seem to mention any other consoles such as the 360, PC, or PS3. It will look like garbage, wait no worse jaggified garbage!

I have another game to look forward to after FarCry! Yippee!
