The fan-favorite lawyer game is back in stock!

Last March, we ran a a rumor article about Capcom supplying retailers with more copies of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. Unfortunately, it's still been extremely difficult to purchase in recent months. Good news for those of you who who've still got the lawyer bug, though, as Capcom is now selling copies straight from its official website.

Head on over, and get your copy today!

Yeah, that's good for the USA, but have you seen how much Canadians have to pay for s&h? $100 or so, that's just for s&h, plus what the game costs. Oh well, that just pushed me to go and see if I can buy it in 2nd hand if I'm lucky, or a miracle would be to buy it brand new. Oh well...

The link to the site doesn't work for me...

BiLdItUp1June 28, 2006

The link doesn't work. Also, it's not listed when you go to Capcom's NDS section here..

SheckyJune 28, 2006

Ha, they pulled it!

BY HAND I TELL YOU face-icon-small-smile.gif

Edit: It was listed on Capcom's site when I reported it in the rumor thread linked in the news post. I don't know anyone who ordered from it though, so I have no guage to know if they put it up in error, or plan on honoring those who did order.

CalibanJune 28, 2006

Wow they have taken it. Well just make sure, they did have it when this morning I clicked on the link on kotaku's.

Capcom fails at restocking.

KDR_11kJune 28, 2006

When will it be released in Europe?

Hey Kairon, I got myself a sealed copy for 30$ right around the time the news was floating around that it was going to be restocked in stores. Turns out that appeared to be a load of crap, but it still dropped the price temporarily face-icon-small-smile.gif.

you can still add it to your cart if you use the URL http://www.capcom.com/store?sku=32001
good luck though, it'll cost you $999.99

MaleficentOgreJune 29, 2006

I hope this and trace memory get back into stores hardcore style so my friends stop asking me to borrow them.

That's it, I've decided that no matter how good the game is, I'm not going to bother myself with trying to track down a game that Capcom obviously doesn't want it's consumer to have... and with that I'm not going to even bother with the next one because why should I buy a sequel or whatever if I can't get the first one. YOU SUCK CAPCOM!

TMWJune 29, 2006

God damnit. I swear, for all of their "support", Capcom must really hate people who own Nintendo systems.

A deep, pathological hatred that spans systems and generations.

I was able to order it (along with Mega Man Anniversary Collection for GC, just for kicks), so we'll see if they honor the order. It probably just sold out.

Capcom's store uses UPS to ship to Canada, so it'd cost even MORE than that. They only hit you with all the "hidden fees" when they hand you your package. By my experience, those can add up to more than $50 just by themselves.

Highway robbery is what it is.

Erm...Amazon.com has it for sale. I just bought it a few hours ago.

Go go go!

I just received my copy from Capcom today. I can't wait to check it out!
