Yep, there's another one headed to consoles, this time from a different developer.
Activision announced today that a new game in the Call of Duty series is in development at Gray Matter and Treyarch, two of the publisher's internal studios. The game is another console-targeted title in the military shooter franchise, following the tremendous success of last year's Call of Duty: Finest Hour. No other information on the new game is currently available, but we are expecting a GameCube release.

We just got a message from Nintendo that says the Nintendo DS consoles and software for the European launch are ready and waiting to be transported to stores all over Europe. Photos inside!
The brand new production line at the DS factory has been very busy producing up to 144,000 units of software a day to be ready for the European launch date on 11th March. There are now 650,000 Nintendo DS consoles and over 2.5 million games that are ready for distribution.

Nintendo's new game is barely a game.
GameSpot is reporting that Tokyo retailers are getting the buzz on Nintendo's latest DS title. It's called "Electroplankton" and has quite an out there concept.

Nintendo releases a bizarre Japanese commercial for its Cupid-themed GBA matchmaking game.
Nintendo recently updated their media page for Sennen Kazoku (1000 Year Family) with the official commercial. The spot features a couple speaking in a restaurant with everyone around them breaking out into tears. A match is made on the woman's GBA, and the whole restaurant is overjoyed and comes for a look.

Nintendo has announced four more colors for Japan.
Nintendo recently updated their Japanese Nintendo DS page with a set of four new colors set to be released in the coming months. Graphite Black and Pure White colored systems will launch on March 24th. Turquoise Blue and Candy Pink systems will launch April 21st. Nintendo of America has not yet made a similar announcement for the US.

Famitsu reviews some new DS games for Japan.
The latest issues of the popular Famitsu Magazine in Japan has reviewed a pair of new Nintendo DS titles. Reviewed in the new issue are Namco's Pac-Pix and Meteos, developed by Q-Entertainment, which is headed up by Tetsuya Mizuguchi. Mizuguchi is most well known for his work on Space Channel 5.
