Daan and Danny talk about some of the best games that you should pray will come out in your region.

2013 was a great year for gaming in Japan, especially for the Nintendo 3DS. Tons of great games and experiences graced all Nintendo platforms but there are still some that may never leave Japanese shores. While there are obvious games missing from our following list such as Super Mario 3D World or The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, we kept it strictly to games that were only released in Japan. Our list is very 3DS heavy, but that is mainly due to few exclusives, save Yakuza 1&2 HD, coming out on the Wii U. So, cross your fingers for future releases in your region, read on and as Mr. Iwata says, “Please understand.”

Awesome list Daan! :) Just a quick question though... Are E.X. Troopers and Tomodachi Collection text-heavy games? Since I can't read Japanese, I can only get away with playing rhythm games like Taiko, Project Mirai and Daigasso (lol). Monster Hunter 3G and 4 are exceptions since I've been playing too much MH (since MHP2G) to figure out what to do in the game despite not being able to read any text. Thanks! And looking forward to more JP recommendations. :))
