Nintendo World Report's staff offers up their expectations and hopes for this year's E3.

I can only hope that Nintendo announces their grand return to the realm of baseball games with Major League Baseball featuring Ichiro. This will also be the focus of Nintendo's next peripheral in an attempt to smack EA Sports in the face.

  • Nintendo will reveal that Factor 5 is working on a new Star Fox game.
  • Kirby Wii will be announced as in the works and may or may not suffer a similar fate as the Gamecube Kirby game.
  • Either Pikmin 3 or Animal Crossing Wii will be announced, if not I will eat my hat.
  • New Super Mario Bros 2 or something equally big will hit WiiWare. If New Super Mario Bros. 2 isn't announced for WiiWare, it'll more than likely be announced for DS because it will make more money there.
  • Another Resident Evil game will be announced by Capcom, but it definitely won't be 5.
  • Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Crystal Bearers will probably go unmentioned.
  • Kid Icarus will be announced for a fall release and will be developed by Intelligent Systems.
  • I have absolutely no theories on what the next Retro Studios game will be, but I doubt it will be a Metroid game. On that note, Metroid Dread will be announced for the DS and will continue the main storyline.
  • A bunch of Mario spinoff crap will be announced including the first look at Mario's Super American Family Football Touchdown.
