Spy Hunter 2

by Alex Sandell - May 8, 2003, 12:15 am EDT

The hunt begins again. Don't say you weren't prepared ... this machine has it all!

Later this year, you will be able to turn on your GameCube and take a test drive in the sparkling new G-8155 Interceptor. The G-8155 is capable of transforming itself into an off-road motorcycle, a 4-wheel drive vehicle, and even a snow ski. The machine will come equipped with a tracking turret, land mines, and an indestructible armored shield.

You'll race the G-8155 Interceptor through four vast regions containing 16 interactive levels. The G-8155 is built to handle rugged terrain, so you'll be able to take the vehicle off the beaten path at will. This promises to make for a less linear Spy Hunter than the one released in 2001.

Huge bosses will await you at the end of each mission. On your way, keep an eye open for the enemies coming at you from all sides. With highly evolved AI, they'll be keeping an eye open for you, and will react to your behavior.

If things start getting too tough for you to handle, G-8155's online computer, Leonie 2.0, will be there to lend a hand. Leonie will have plenty of mission-critical information for you to peruse. The Interceptor seems to have it all.

Will a car like this attract the babes? If the mysterious new female agent slinking her way into the Spy Hunter series is any indication, the answer is a definite "yes." But before you get to know her, you'll have

to get to know yourself. The story of Alex Sects is going to be more immersive and in-depth than ever before.

With a newly customizable vehicle like the G-8155 Interceptor, will you be too busy personalizing your ride to leave time for personal introspection? If you can't get the Interceptor set up to your specifications, how will you ever be able to stop the deadly Nostra from going forward with his diabolical plans?

The car will be yours. What you do with it is up to you. Just remember to bring a Thermos - there has been no word passed down from Midway as to whether or not the G-8155 will be equipped with a cup holder, and there are sure to be bumpy roads ahead.
