Entering the contest is simple. All you need to do is to listen to tonight's episode of Radio Free Nintendo (the NWR podcast), read this Sunday's NWR Mailbag, read the next Virtual Console Mondays news feature, and listen to next week's episode of RFN. (In other words, continue doing what you'd normally do.) Contained within each will be a special code word you'll need complete the entry form, which will be made available from this page starting February 14. That's Valentine's Day!
If you submit all four code words correctly, you'll be entered into our random drawing for the Nintendogs stuff. All 10 of our winners will get a Nintendogs game and one of the plush toys. Two of these winners will get a brand-new Coral Pink DS Lite on top of that. Pretty nice, eh?

The Nintendo World Report Valentine's Day Nintendogs DS Giveaway Official Rules
NO ENTRY FEE OR PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PLAY OR WIN.
1. Eligibility: The Nintendo World Report Valentine's Day Nintendogs DS Giveaway (the "Contest") is open to all Nintendo World Report readers from the United States and Canada with a valid email address and the means to download, playback and listen to MP3 or AAC audio files. Entrants under the age of 18 must have permission from their parents or legal guardians to participate. Employees of Nintendo World Report and its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, their immediate family members and persons living in their same household, are not eligible to participate in the Contest. Participation in the Contest constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules & Regulations ("Official Rules"). VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
2. To Enter:
(a) Game stage: Read Nintendo World Report and listen to Radio Free Nintendo between February 7, 2007 and February 14, 2007 and look for Contest code words. Code words will be clearly identified as for use in the Contest. A total of four (4) code words will be revealed during the Game stage portion of the Contest. The code words can be obtained during the following events:
-One (1) heard in a commercial during episode 38 of Radio Free Nintendo, available February 7, 2007
-One (1) displayed in the Nintendo World Report mailbag on February 11, 2007
-One (1) displayed in the Nintendo World Report Virtual Console Mondays news feature on February 12, 2007
-One (1) heard in a commercial during episode 39 of Radio Free Nintendo, available February 14, 2007
(b) Entry stage: From February 14, 2007 at approximately 8:00 p.m. Pacific Time until February 21, 2007 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time, the Contest entry form will open and entries will be accepted. To officially enter the Contest, follow the entry form link from the Contest home page (http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/newsArt.cfm?artid=12873), input the four code words and valid email address into the correct fields, and submit the form one time only. (An "Entry".)
(c) (i) Eligible Entries are those consisting of the four correct code words distributed per Section 2(a) and a valid email address owned by an eligible participant as described in Section 1. (ii) Duplicate entries and/or any use of robotic, automatic, programmed, or similar Entry methods will void all such entries by such methods. (iii) Validity of information and Entry will be determined by the Nintendo World Report, and all judgments by the Nintendo World Report are final.
Entrants violating any of these Official Rules may be disqualified.
3. Awarding of Prizes: (a) All Contest Entries meeting the requirements of the Official Rules will be entered into prize contention. Winners will be determined via a random drawing among all valid Entries, to be held on or about February 23, 2007. (b) The first ten (10) Entries selected will be declared "Winners", of which the first two (2) Winners selected will win First Prize, and the next eight (8) Winners selected will win Second Prize. An additional fifteen (15) Entries will be selected as standby entrants. (c) In the event that a First Prize Winner does not claim their prize by the prize claim cut-off date, the first-most Second Prize Winner will be awarded First Prize. In the event a Second Prize Winner does not claim their prize by the prize claim cut-off date, the first-most selected standby entrant will be awarded Second Prize. In the event that all standby entrants have been exhausted, any unclaimed prizes will not be awarded.
4. Prizes and Odds: The prizes to be awarded from the Contest are as follows:
(a) Two (2) First Prizes: One (1) Coral Pink Nintendo DS Lite handheld video game system, one (1) copy of Nintendogs: Dalmatian & Friends video game for the Nintendo DS and one (1) Nintendogs Pet and Play Pup talking plush toy (random breed). Approximate retail value: $185 USD.
(b) Eight (8) Second Prizes: One (1) copy of Nintendogs: Dalmatian & Friends video game for the Nintendo DS and one (1) Nintendogs Pet and Play Pup talking plush toy (random breed). Approximate retail value: $55 USD.
Many will enter, only ten (10) will win. The odds of winning a prize dependent on the number of entries. Winners are solely responsible for any and all federal, state, provincial and local taxes that apply to prizes. No cash or other substitution of prizes is permitted, except at the sole option of Nintendo World Report for a prize of equal or greater value. Prizes won by those under the age of 13 will be awarded to the parents or legal guardians, who must sign all required affidavits and releases. Nintendo World Report will not replace any lost or stolen prizes.
Approximate total retail value of all prizes to be awarded: $810 USD.
5. Notification of Winners: On or about February 24, 2007, contest winners will be notified via the email address submitted in their Entry. Standby participants will not be notified unless winners do not respond in a timely manner. (See section 6.) Non-winning participants will not be notified at any time.
6. Claiming a Prize: (a) Selected Winners will have five (5) calendar days from the time notification email is sent to respond by following the instructions provided in the email to claim their prize. (b) In the event a winner does not claim their prize in the allowed response time, that entrant will be disqualified and a new winner will be selected per Section 3(c). Newly selected Winners will have three (3) days to respond to the notification email. Failure to respond will result in that entrant's disqualification. (c) Winners may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and publicity/liability release within seven (7) days of notification. In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email account specified in the entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. No automatically generated entries will be accepted.

February 7, 2007, 8:00 p.m. Pacific Time (approx.): Contest begins - Game Stage (See Section 2(a).)
February 7, 2007: First code word revealed during Radio Free Nintendo Episode 38
February 11, 2007: Second code word revealed in the Nintendo World Report mailbag
February 12, 2007: Third code word revealed in the Nintendo World Report Virtual Console Mondays news feature
February 14, 2007: Fourth code word revealed during Radio Free Nintendo Episode 39
February 14, 2007, 8:00 p.m. Pacific Time (approx.): Contest entry opens - Entry Stage (See Section 2(b).)
February 21, 2007, 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time: Contest entry closes
February 23, 2007 (approx.): Winners selected via random drawing (See Section 3.)
February 24, 2007 (approx.): Winners notified via email (See Section 5 and Section 6.)
8. Privacy Policy: Any personal information supplied by you to Nintendo World Report will not be sold, sent, rented, transferred or otherwise disclosed to any third party and will be used solely for the purposes of this Contest. All Entries become the property of Nintendo World Report.
9. General Rules: By entering, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules. The Contest is offered by Nintendo World Report at 1392 Ahart St., Simi Valley, CA 93065, which is not responsible for late, lost, delayed, damaged, postage-due, incomplete, illegible, or misdirected entries, responses, or other correspondence, whether by email or postal mail or otherwise, or for theft or destruction or unauthorized access or alterations of entry materials, phone, electrical, network, computer, hardware, software program or transmission malfunctions, failures or difficulties. By participating and winning a prize, Winner releases Nintendo World Report and affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, sponsors, and agents, including advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability with respect to the Contest or the acceptance, possession or use of any prize, including without limitation (i) any condition caused by events beyond Nintendo World Report’s control that may cause the Contest to be disrupted or corrupted; (ii) any injuries, losses, or damages (compensatory, direct, incidental, consequential or otherwise) of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the Contest and/or prize, or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize, or from participation in the Contest; and (iii) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Contest. Nintendo World Report’s decisions in all respects relative to the Contest are final. Nintendo World Report reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the Contest in whole or in part, in the event of fraud, technical or other difficulties or if the integrity of the Contest is compromised, without liability to the entrant.
