The Q sliced and diced GC

It may look like a toaster, but it plays GameCube games and DVDs. It's the Panasonic Q, and someone always has to tear these things apart.

National Console Support has taken apart their Panasonic Q and posted some pictures for you to gawk at. Click the above link to check them out.

The Q is now on sale in Japan, and can be imported (modded even) for around $400-$475.

Acclaim Gets a New President

The company behind Turok and Extreme G now has a new president for North American operations.

Edmond Sanctis is the new President and Chief Operating Officer of Acclaim. He will oversee North American operations including product development, marketing, sales, and manufacturing. Santis will report directly to Acclaim's co-chairmen, Greg Fischbach and James Scoroposki.

Mr. Sanctis has previously worked at MSNBC, NBCi, and Sony USA.
