REDWOOD CITY, CALIF. - February 25, 2003 - Leading video game publisher Konami of America, Inc. announced today that Evolution Snowboarding for Nintendo GameCubeā„¢ has shipped to retail outlets nationwide.

Evolution Snowboarding offers players a dynamic gameplay experience by combining traditional snowboard racing with over-the-top combat action. Players take on a variety of enemies and boss characters as they race to dominate the slopes. Featuring some of the world's hottest snowboarders, including 2002 Olympic medalist Danny Kass, Evolution Snowboarding includes over 80 perilous missions that span eight exhilarating levels.

Featuring pick-up-and-play controls, Evolution Snowboarding takes the fundamentals of big-air, high-speed snowboarding and fuses them with combat-style action - creating a hard-hitting action-sports experience. Only in Evolution Snowboarding will gamers race down slopes while punching, hitting and kicking opponents as they attempt to accomplish a variety of dangerous missions. Players can also acquire weapons, such as clubs, chains or swords, and use them to defeat enemies.
