Activision Brings Explosive Summer Action Thriller to Game Boy Advance

London, UK - 18th October, 2002 - Gamers can now enter the world of one of the summer's biggest action thrillers with Activision, Inc.'s (Nasdaq: ATVI) XXX for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. The game is based on Revolution Studio's "xXx", which stars Vin Diesel and opens nationwide on 18th October. xXx lets players assume the role of underground thrillseeker turned spy Xander Cage in a series of death-defying motorcycle and arcade-action challenges. xXx is currently available nationwide for a suggested retail price of £29.99 and is rated 11+ by the Elspa.

"xXx is the only video game that lets fans experience the explosive action of the film from the palms of their hands," states Larry Goldberg, executive vice president, Activision Worldwide Studios. "With fast-paced motorcycle combat and an arsenal of high-tech weapons at their fingertips, gamers will have hours of adrenaline-pumping fun."

In xXx, players are transported into an underground spy world as they race through 11 heart-stopping levels. Featuring furious side-scrolling action and time-based motorcycle combat, players will use a stockpile of high-tech weaponry and gadgets including Electro-Impulse Motorcycles, High-Impact Incendiary Grenades and the Dart Chrome gun from the movie to combat a clever, organized and ruthless enemy that threatens the future of the world. The motorcycle combat in XXX features 3D-style gameplay, giving players the most viscerally immersive handheld experience ever.

xXx for the Game Boy Advance was developed by Digital Eclipse for Activision.

"xXx" the feature film will be released nationwide by Columbia Pictures on 18th October.
