Get ready for the most ambiguously obscene Nintendo promotion EVER.
Lizard Lick, North Carolina is set to be the location of "Yoshi's Clash of the Tongues", where on September 28th, contestants will vie for the title of "Ultimate Licker." Other titles include the "Lengthiest Lick", "Most Imaginative Lick", and "Most Daring Lick".
We can't make this stuff up, folks.
Of course, this is all to promote the release of Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island. A Nintendo prize back will be awarded by Yoshi himself to the highest scorer. The mayor of Lizard Lick has marked the day as a town holiday ... "Yoshi Day". An official proclamation will be handed to Yoshi by the mayor in comemmoration of the event.
All this zaniness is going down Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, at the Lizard Lick Town Hall, located at 2605 Highway 97.
