Well my brother will now be getting a Switch 2 in January 2027.  Both of us have big backlogs that we're working through and he has his list of series (excluding spin-offs) that jump the queue in the backlog to get immediate attention: Pokemon, Zelda and Metroid.

I see lots of good stuff that I would get if I had a Switch 2 but I'm holding out for an OLED model like my Switch 1 and have tons of stuff still to play for the foreseeable future.  But Metroid is the dealbreaker for him.  He's going to have to play it on release day.

I wish the new baddies had tiny faces on their hats to complete the Zeiram vibe.

This was my favorite announcement of the show. The game looks great and including an amiibo with the special edition is an interesting idea.

It really does feel like they’re letting the guard rails down on MercurySteam a bit, the aesthetics are wild and this trailer just felt relentless. I thought they were going to lean more on the “Raven” part of “Ravenous” but I do love that Samus is in her eat-slay-love era.

Also that new Power Suit design is absolutely gorgeous, takes all the sleek elements of the Dread version and further strips it down. I know she won’t be in it long but the proportions are awesome.
