This one somehow slipped under the PGC radar. A new Bubble Bobble game is releasing later his month!!!
The name of the game is Bubble Bobble Old & New. For anyone who loved Bubble Bobble on the NES, this definitely sounds like the game for you. This new title has reproductions of all the classic levels from the NES game, as well as new levels made just for this version. The new levels are loaded with updated graphics as well as a new feature that will let you keep your powerups for later use. Plus, if you're playing along, you can have the computer AI fill in for player 2. Plus if two people want to play only one cartridge is needed! Bubble Bobble Old & New releases on July 25 in Japan. There are currently no plans for a US launch, but we can hope.
