Nintendo plans a tour of Japanese cities to promote the latest Pokemon game!
Nintendo has just finalized plans for Pokemon Festa 2002, a tour across Japan to promote Pokemon on the GameBoy Advance. Nintendo plans to hold separate events in various cities featuring playable kiosks of their latest handheld Pokemon adventure. Each location will have a special movie theater setup for attendees to preview Pokemon films. According to company representatives, special stage presentations and contests are also scheduled for each stop. Thanks to XenGamers, here’s a tentative schedule for the tour. Pokemon Festa 2002 will start on July 20 and festivities are expected to run from approximately 9AM-4PM at each location.
