Gaming fans to get VIP 24:7 treatment with new Nintendo site
7 June 2002 - Nintendo, the world's most successful video games company, today announces the launch of its biggest internet experience ever - the new official Nintendo website for the UK.
At the end of June, Nintendo will relaunch all its sites across Europe with a stimulating new look and approach, creating a coherent European internet strategy - and the first stop for anyone who loves video games. At the click of a button, www.nintendo.co.uk will bring you all the Nintendo information you could ever need, from the latest games information to up-to-the-minute announcements, direct from the official source.
As part of the gaming giant's pan-European marketing strategy, the new site hosts the ultimate directory of everything Nintendo. For every system, from NINTENDO GAMECUBE to Game Boy Advance and Pokémon mini, there's all the hottest screen shots, movies, essential tips and tricks and frequently asked questions, plus enough specs, system descriptions and Nintendo accessory details to keep even the most dedicated gamer coming back for more.
Fans can also access must-read official news on games and events, discover the details of Nintendo's brilliant console designs and ground-breaking games throughout the ages, as well as ask for speedy help from the online consumer service.
