The Renowned Spineless Superhero Returns to Game Boy Advance

EDISON, NJ, February 21, 2002 – Majesco, one of the fastest-growing publishers of interactive entertainment software, today announced Earthworm Jim 2 for the Nintendo Game Boy® Advance. Developed by Moscow-based Super Empire, the side-scrolling, action-adventure game will be released this spring.

“We are thrilled to continue building on such a classic video game property by bringing back Earthworm Jim in a new and improved sequel to the wildly popular Game Boy Advance title,” said Ken Gold, Vice President of Marketing for Majesco. “The everlasting appeal of Earthworm Jim 2 will attract both fans of the series and a whole new generation of gamers.”

Based on David Perry’s groundbreaking video game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Earthworm Jim 2 for the Game Boy Advance once again captivates game players with state-of-the-art graphics and game-play that made Earthworm Jim an instant classic. Following on the success of the original Game Boy Advance title, Earthworm Jim 2 reunites players with the popular spineless superhero.

Players travel through six action-packed worlds interacting with some of the most intense opponents ever designed for the handheld video game system. From Evil the Cat’s “Circus of the Scars” to the “Planet of Meat,” players join Jim on a madcap chase across the galaxy. Saving cows, thwarting lawyers and outsmarting Psy-Crow are in all in a day’s work for Jim.

Joining Jim is an eclectic and bizarre cast of such familiar characters as, Princess What’s-Her-Name, Psy Crow, Peter Puppy, Bob the Goldfish and Evil the Cat. Highlights of Earthworm Jim 2 include:

Weapons – an amazing arsenal of weaponry from which to choose, including 3 Finger Gun, Barn Blaster, Homing Missile and Ammo Booster;

Wacky Levels – Intricate and untraditional level designs are once again a hallmark of Jim’s twisted world;

Returning Characters -- all of Jim original sidekicks and costars are reunited under one video-game roof;

Movement – players are able to whip, run, jump, fly and snot-swing their way into Princess What’s-Her-Name heart and ultimately, to victory.
