Konami has announced that Castlevania: Circle of the Moon has sold over 500,000 in the western world (North America and Europe.) This is quite a feat for a third party game that has only been out for 1 ½ months on a new system. Although details are sketchy, Konami went on to announce development of a new Castlevania game. No platform has been announced yet, but it could very likely be for the GBA. But it could also be another attempt at a 3D Castlevania game, in which case it would be nice to see it head towards the GameCube.
