Midway announced today that they will have 9 GameCube titles out. But only 2 of these 9 will be available at the system launch. The two titles are NFL Blitz 2002 and NHL Hitz 2002. You've probably heard of Blitz before. It's a hard hitting intense football game. It's more of a game than a football "sim" like Madden is.

Not much is really known about NHL Hitz. But you can expect the same fast paced hard hitting action that Blitz has. There will surely be the option to turn off the penalties and such. You can also probably expect some super cool effects like power checking and shattering glass.

Also, Midway will be bringing NFL Blitz to the Game Boy Advance later this year.
