So my humorous attempt at a headline sounds a little severe. Unfortunately, in the midst of the holidays and all the Nintendo/Sega insanity, it looks like one of the best Nintendo-related websites continues to suffer from one of the worst streaks of bad luck imaginable. Previously, Trevor, Dan and RareNet have weathered a horrid car crash, having their domain name bought out and being unable to get the site online after their old host went broke. Now, it seems that the boys' host completely lost the site. Ouch.

Fortunately, they're down but not out and have most of their material archived. A very down-trodden Dan told me: "We should hopefully be back online soon." Let's hope so. Those RareNet guys are only ones who seem to know the real deal with Rare and even though their online presence is becoming somewhat of a "rarity"; (ugh, bad pun) their updates are almost as precious as Rare games themselves. Well, almost. ;)

Anyway, I just wanted to let our readers know what's up. You can also email Dan and Trevor to wish them luck getting back on their feet. Let's hope that once they come back, swarms of locusts don't besiege the site.
