From the ashes of Scalebound come future-cops in battle-shorts!

Platinum has revealed their next Nintendo exclusive title. Astral Chains, a futuristic character action game, is headed to Nintendo Switch on August 30th. Hideki Kamiya (Bayonetta) is serving as supervisor and Takahisa Taura (NieR: Automata) is acting as director. This game looks really good... But I'm still hoping for Wonderful 101

Looks good. I may wait on Astral Chain because I expect it to drop in price pretty quickly. This would be an insta-buy had it been co-op.

It isn't co-op?

Leo13February 13, 2019

It sounded co-op to me. I'm hoping my wife enjoys it and we play it together

They were a little vague on the gameplay details. I'm sure we'll get more info in a future Direct.  But I'm hoping it's online co-op.

There were a few parts in the trailer where one of the characters was walking around the city alone. It didn’t look co-op to me.

The time of UNLIMITED ANIME continues. I'm so in with being a Persona/JoJo-neo-cyber-modern-fantasy super cop. Hopefully the story won't force you in to being a bastard.

Too early to call it.  I would probably buy it REGARDLESS of price... support both Nintendo and Platinum Games.  ASTRAL CHAIN is gonna be one of the most wanted blockbuster video games this Summer.
