The original eight will adorn your dock.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate will have a hardware bundle, and it's launching earlier than would be expected.

The hardware bundle will launch on November 2 and will include a dock with the original eight Smash Bros characters and specially adorned Joy-Cons. A download code for Smash Bros Ultimate will be included, but according to Nintendo it will not be live until December 7.

The GameCube controller adapter reissue has also moved up to launch alongside the bundle on November 2.

I like the dock. I hate the joycons. I'd rather get the Let's Go bundle even though I'd rather have Smash tied to my console instead of the Let's Go Pokemon but that's what a good special edition console should look like.

I don’t hate the Joy-Cons; they’re just bland as part of a themed bundle. I imagine some people won’t even notice. Using the logo without the circle is an odd choice because it’s just two lines. At least the grips on the Pro Controller are white. Feels like a missed opportunity on both counts. Nintendo could have used indigo in honor of GameCube since, with Super Smash Bros., it keeps dipping back to the well with the GameCube Adapter and controller.

Yeah, the dock is pretty sweet, but those 'Cons are uninspired. They also should have put a design on the grip.
