Rare Story BS?

"Computers and Video Games" derails GameFan's Rare story.

Our story from Gamefan yesterday, is supposedly bogus according to C&VG. To be quite honest folks, the only people that really know what's going on is Shiggy and a few people at the big N. Nintendo has got Spaceworld and Dolphin information very very hidden. And anyone that knows anything has a gun to their heads to keep their pie hole shut.

That is of course, until one of us net savvy nutballs discovers something. :) Thanks to the fine folks in our forum for the tip!

We don’t know where this came from, but according to our contacts at Rare, is simply isn’t true. An American journalist recently took a trip over to our green and pleasant land and heard a rumour – presumably bought at London’s Ye Famous Olde Rumour Mill – that Rare is to show two Dolphin games at Spaceworld.

Rare insiders have informed CVG that they could have a playable game at the show if Nintendo “really pushed for it,” although the developer is known to be massing a team for an FPS for the machine to continue the GoldenEye franchise. Other projects are hard under wraps at the moment.

The only games definitely scheduled to appear at the Japanese show are Zelda-creator Shigeru Miyamoto’s projects, most likely the first look at his all-new Mario game and the next instalment of Link’s adventures. Whether or not Rare will make an actual software showing at the event is still up in the air.

We’ll know for certain next month. Until then, be careful what you believe.
