That company has a funny name.

Paradigm Entertainment, the somewhat talented development house responsible for such Nintendo 64 games as Pilotwings 64 (together with Nintendo), F1 World Grand Prix and the wonderfull Beetle Adventure Racing, has been acquired by french super company Infogrames. The deal puts Paradigm as a wholly owned subsidary of Infogrames, "Infogrames is a recognized leader within the entertainment industry, and Paradigm is honored to join such a world-class organization," said David Gatchel, president and CEO of Paradigm Entertainment. "Through our relationship with Infogrames, Paradigm is positioned to focus its creative and technological expertise toward the continued development of quality interactive experiences."

Where does this put them concerning Dolphin development? Well being part of Infogrames will see them branch out and develop for multiple upcoming next-generation consoles which may include Playstation 2, Dreamcast, Dolphin and X-Box. Paradigm have an excellent grasp on creating realistic yet ultimately fun games and whatever console the company chooses to develop for will benefit from this.
