Warriors to be discussed, but plenty of possibilities.

The next video presentation from Nintendo will be critical-hitting us next week.

A Fire Emblem-themed Direct will air next Wednesday, January 18 at 5 pm Eastern / 2 pm Pacific. This was announced on today's Treehouse Live event, in the context of Fire Emblem Warriors.

In addition to Warriors, other possibilites include the Fire Emblem mobile game and possibly the Western release of DLC for Fire Emblem Fates.

So we may be getting Fire Emblem Warriors fairly early???

You know what would've been cool? If Nintendo had just listed out their Nintendo Direct schedule for the next three months at the Switch Presentation. That would have gone a long way towards keeping the Hype train chugging along.

Maybe we'll get a Nintendo direct every week. They've still got a lot of stuff to cover like online and VC as well as other games that need more 'splaining.

I will buy the hell out of Fire Warriors DLC. This is the type of game that will fully be able to cater to all of the different fans if done right. and if Hyrule Warriors was any indication, this will be perfect. A DLC pack for each lord and the chance to give a lot of other units a chance to shine some more.

Shaymin, you mention the possibility of more Fates DLC; is this based off of anything revealed in Direct/Treehouse event or are you running off the the general hope fans have that we will see another pack or two of DLC?

Also, this could be a great chance to show off the Corrin amiibo along with possible compatibility additions for her and Roy in other games (not just Fates, but Mario Maker could include them).

There are some Fates maps that have only come out in Japan to date, which include the ability to grind the Lodestar and Great Lord classes. Also, this.

I've known about the Japanese maps, and have also bought into the fans who have constructed arguments for unreleased content based on what Awakening has. Nice to get some form of a legitimate tease for more DLC.

Still holding out hope for new DLC to add Roy into the game. If Animal Crossing can get years late DLC for amiibo support then I am confident we will see more for Fates.
