The Switch will click into place in early March.

The new console will launch simultaneously in North America, Europe, Japan, Australia and Hong Kong on March 3, for a suggested retail price of $299.99 US and 29,980 yen in Japan. European pricing will be determined by retailers as is current Nintendo policy.

Preorders in Japan will open on January 21.

Yikes. $299.99 is a little high. I'm still getting one, hopefully at launch.

£280, however, is too high. In current exchange rates that $350.

That is not on Nintendo though. They let retailers in Europe choose the pricing.

Gotta say, after all the waiting for the Switch news and reveals, it's hard to believe this console is launching in about a month. It still feels like it should be longer than that, I think in part, because there are still a lot of unknowns about the system.

Dude, shut up, Khush. Shut your dirty mouth. Don't jinx this. I've waited for a new Zelda for six years. I need this.
