A fatal four-way, one fall to a finish.

During the Treehouse Live segment today, Pokémon Sun and Moon received two new Pokémon and a new multiplayer battle mode.

The new Pokémon are Yungoos, a Normal type "Loitering Pokémon" with the abilities Strong Jaw and Stakeout (no description given) and Pikipek, a Normal/Flying type with the abilities Keen Eye and Skill Link. Pikipek is based on a woodpecker and was shown in the February Pokémon Direct video.

A later trailer from the Pokemon Company confirmed a third new Pokémon: Grubbin, a Bug Pokémon. Magearna's new ability (Soul-Heart: raises Special Attack when a teammate faints) and move (Fleur Cannon) were also confirmed.

A new multiplayer mode was shown called Battle Royal. In this four-player mode, the first person to run out of Pokémon will be the loser and the winner will be the one who inflicts the final blow.
