Still taking off in April.

Star Fox Zero will have amiibo support at its April launch.

In a communication which reiterated the ttile's April 22 release in North America, Nintendo confirmed that there will be support for amiibo, with more details to be revealed "at a later date".

Fox and Falco amiibo have already been released as part of the Smash Bros series.

Talkback

Fox is one of the few Amiibos I have, so I'll be interested in seeing how it's implemented.

You are invincible for one stage per day per amiibo.

I would really like it if it added tiny Arwing Options. Mostly because Options in shooting games are rad.

Obviously, this is why they had to delay the game. Amiibo don't design themselves, yet.

This actually gives me an excuse to buy Fox and Falco amiibo.  Unless they make "Star Fox" series amiibo and I like those better.

Considering Falco was the last non-DLC Smash to be released and his release was a one-off (along with a replenishment of Fox) that was timed with the Previous SFZ launch date, was anyone really expecting it to *not* include some kind of amiibo support?

Yeah, we all knew this would happen. What we want are specifics.
