Trying to soothe the wait for Twilight Princess HD.

To try and soothe the pain of Zelda Wii U and Twilight Princess HD being 2016, Nintendo of Europe has added a couple of Zelda games to the Virtual Console.

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks have both been released on Virtual Console in Europe following tonight's Nintendo Direct.

The 2007 and 2009 DS games will sell for € 9,99/£8.99, and purchasers of one will get 50% off the other through 19 November.

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass was my favourite game in the series i played simply because it annoyed me the least with stupid puzzles.

I want to play Spirit Tracks but i shudder to think of how it's gonna play on Gamepad.

And the tradition of Nintendo of Europe being infinitely better than Nintendo of America continues.

A recent tradition... but clearly accurate if you limit the scope to the last 5 years or so.

At first blush I was kind of disappointed at the timing, having just spent $45 on copies of the original DS games. However, being on the Wii U instead of the 3DS is much less appealing so I feel the extra money was well spent.

Its nice that they have been added to VC, but I didnt like them very much.

Phantom hourglass was ruined by that annoying temple you had to return to all the time.
I never really got into Spirit Tracks. I cant remember why.

Go play Minish Cap instead.

Fixed that for you.

I looked over miiverse community and it seems like blowing into the microphone is still a problem?

Also i wonder how do you simulate closing the DS -- i am guessing you go into Home menu or something.
