Stateside Monster Hunter fans better chug some coffee.

On October 8, Nintendo will be streaming a Nintendo Direct focusing on Monster Hunter 4G, starting in Japan at 8 pm (12 pm in the UK, and 7 am EST in the US). The broadcast will be streaming on both Youtube and NicoNico in anticipation for the game's release on October 11.

Monster Hunter 4G is the expanded version of Monster Hunter 4, which released in Japan in September 2013 and sold over 3 million copies by January 2014. The west won't be seeing 4G, retitled as Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, until the first quarter of 2015.

I feel bad because I'm getting a New 3DS next week, but have no interest in either Monster Hunter or Xenoblade....

How do you have no interest in Xenoblade?

A 10-hour action game takes me 3 months to complete due to time constraints!
I have no desire to add an 80+ hour RPG into the mix!

I have all due respect for the game though, and would recommend anyone with the time to give it a go!
